Bulbous, tactile thorns pierce the ears either side in an elegant clasp, emotive curves of polished silver black rhodium that terminate with a sharp point. Rose Thorn’s innovative design is a two-piece construction, seamlessly fitting together, creating a fluid “double-thorn” shape through the ear, securely fastened in place. The Rose Thorn revisits the pointed silver black thorn studs from the Alexander McQueen runways of the 1990s, where Shaun Leane placed them on models’ faces with free-spirited creativity. In smaller sizes, Leane achieves the absolute essence of nature in an intimate, personal manner.
